UPDATE FOR 2021– OKWS did not run in 2020 owing to COVID. We hope to run our Osoyoos wine tours in 2021 starting in June - BUT we will not make the decision to run until late-May and will update this site accordingly for bookings at that time.
Our hop-on hop-off service runs April thru Thanksgiving. Our 6 hour HOHO runs 11am to 5pm and our 4 hour HOHO runs either 10am to 2pm or 2pm to 6pm.
How does 6 hour HOHO work?
6 hour HOHO runs from 11am to 5pm. There will be up to 14 guests on the HOHO shuttle. The driver walks everyone through everything at the start. The order of wineries is done with the driver at the start of the tour. The driving route is one big circle and it is driven geographically stopping in the order determined by the guests. Patrons hop off at the wineries of their choice from the route list below. You are always on the same shuttle with the same driver all day long. You go where you want and others go where they want. You are never more than 5 or so mins from the shuttle. 99% of everyone go to the same no-fee wineries. It is run with military precision by the drivers so the experience is smooth for our guests.
A typical HOHO day is three 30 minute tastings before lunch, a 90 minute lunch and tasting stop - then three more 30 minute tastings after lunch before gathering everyone and heading home just after 4pm. If you skip the lunch stop you will see more wineries. Please note that if you choose wineries with longer tasting times (60 to 90 minutes) you will experience fewer total wineries on your tour.
How does 4 hour HOHO work?
Running from 10am to 2pm or 2pm to 6pm, our 4 hour HOHO tour will take you to 6 no-fee wineries. Our 4 hour HOHO tour runs just like the 6 hour tour except that there is no lunch stop and the 6 no-fee wineries are chosen by the driver subject to availability on the day of your tour. This tour is IDEAL for anyone who is new to wine tasting and just wants to go with the flow and have fun.
HOHO fares are $60pp on our 4 hour tour (7 days a week) and $85pp on our 6 hour tour Sunday to Friday. 6 hour HOHO on Saturdays is $100pp. All fares includes tax. Payment options will be provided at the time of booking depending on the size of your booking. These are the guaranteed lowest 4 and 6 hour fares in the industry.
Tasting fees are typically $2 to $5 per person per winery. There are a number of wineries that do not have fees or waive fees for our guests. Fees otherwise charged are typically waived upon the purchase of wine. See the wineries list below for more information about tasting fees. There are no tasting fees on our 4 hour HOHO tour.
